Fakemon - Netherlock

Description

So a couple years back, I had this idea to set up an RP involving fanmade Pokémon and world regions, but the idea turned out to be too big with the small group of admins I restricted myself to and it didn't get off the ground.  I do have a few ideas from the attempt still sitting on my computer, though, and this one was probably the fan Pokémon (I honestly don't really like the term "Fakémon" but meh) I was most proud of.

Netherlock, the Phantasm Pokémon, is a dual Water/Ghost-type with no evolutionary relatives.  According to the mythos of the RP, it was native to the seas off the east coast of an island region called Kostra and was thought to be only a legend or myth for a very long time, until one was eventually captured successfully within the last 100 years before the start of the story.  Until then, not a single Netherlock had been trained.  It can breed with the Water 3 and Dragon groups, and in addition to many standard moves associated with its two types, it can learn Dragon Breath, Supersonic and Twister through breeding; and through TM's it can learn Thunderbolt, Thunder, Psychic, Reflect, Light Screen, Dragon Pulse, Iron Tail and a new move called Arctic Air, which deals no damage but has a slim chance of freezing its target.

I still feel pretty happy with this design a couple years later, in part because it mixes so many different ideas into one without being too blatant a knockoff of any individual.  It might not fit too perfectly into the overall Pokémon design, but I still think it was one of my most inspired fan creations for the series.  And in case anyone was curious, its shiny form is mostly a grayish shade called Mountbatten pink.  Pretty in pink, what do you think? =P
