And now we have hit the halfway point on the Death Machines. In order to have the attachments on her "fit," so to speak, I had to draw her as topless; I didn't want to censor concept art, but hey, I felt I had to do so.

The physical design for this particular piece went through several changes. Originally, I had intended to give her a more modest outfit and have her appear less like the rest of the Death Machines, but then it occurred to me that Jin Meiyue (the Death Machine representing Cancer) was already like this. So, I considered the character a bit more and began to contemplate ways to incorporate the element into her design. The zodiacal sign Virgo, like Gemini, is ruled by the "water planet" Mercury; but with this design, I decided to focus on powers that may be connected to forms of water other than the predictable liquid form. So, I put inside her ice-based powers and attachments which, in order to fully use or express, would require some degree of nudity in the piece.

But, anyway, let's get on with the bio, shall we? Born September 3, 1935; Virginia was by choice completely uninterested in love. Technically, she never played hard-to-get inasmuch as she actually intended to tempt or tease. Her self-identification was that she had no sexual orientation whatsoever, and zero interest in love. Unfortunately, the same could not be said of those around Virginia, as while she was alive she was considered one of the most beautiful young women in her hometown. She was, for a while, stalked before being killed by her creepy shadow when he broke into her apartment on the night of January 16, 1957.

When she became an undead, Virginia's wish to be unrecognizable and unable to attract romantic attention was met. A mask was sealed to her face so that she would not be recognized; the plate for her mouth can be retracted, but otherwise the mask cannot be separated from her face. Her internal structure is, in countless places, exposed; but this enables her to radiate a cold aura. Mounted on her shoulder and in place of her left forearm are two cannons which she can use to launch her watery and icy attacks, and the tank on her back contains much of the machinery which circulates the chilling air through her body. Her right arm is not at all missing, but nothing unique is on it and so I felt no real need to show it rather than have it be hidden behind her torso and torn skirt. Virginia lacks a sense of touch, but her attacks do not function properly in warmer environments.

Virginia is quite obsessed with solitude. She does not enjoy the company of the other Death Machines and has spent so long trying to repel people. The only others whose company she tolerates include Jin Meiyue; her slight madness as an undead compels her to force others away or at least pay no heed to them. Her missing sense of touch means that she is oblivious to damage, and her skin is rather stiff and gradually flaking off.

I had planned to throw in a bit of a condensation effect from each of the many openings on her body, and luckily this worked for me as far as making it presentable to all goes. Then again, I think her nipples are still somewhat visible… Oh well, I didn't really want to censor anyway (go ahead and color me perverted if you want), but I have to be able to put this elsewhere also without any problems, so… yeah. Hope it's not too bad.
